Effect of Feeding Stimulators on Intake of Complementary Foods among Infants and Toddlers Age Six Months to Two Years in Oluyole Local Government Area, Oyo State, Nigeria

Aims: To ensure that infant gets adequate nutrition, it’s essential to assist the child eat in a responsive-feeding environment rather than forced-feeding. This study evaluated effects of feeding-stimulators on intake complementary-food among infants and toddlers aged six months two years.
 Study Design: The was combination cross sectional experimental which involved nursing mothers with 6-24 Oluyole Local Government.
 Place Duration Study: Nursing who attended primary health care centres Government Area, Oyo State were sampled for this study, between January March, 2021.
 Methodology: One hundred twenty (120) specified they had difficulties feeding their children study. Ninety (90) selected intervention while remaining thirty (30) used as control. Structured questionnaire administered infants’ anthropometry measures recorded. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics inferential (T-test).
 Results: Findings revealed 62.2% after introduction complementary food, received new food. Furthermore, it discovered most accepted food when dished colorful plates spoon, toys sounds, played songs from phone cartoons through phones. There significant increase (t(89) = 2.467, P .02**) level stimulators without stimulators. Likewise, there improvement anthropometric measurement usage stimulators.
 Conclusion: It concluded stimulation consistently benefit development, nutritional status. is recommended givers health-workers ought be enlightened children’s nutrition.
